What is a Planning & Design Workshop?

This workshop series is an interactive community engagement that incorporates land use and design concepts into exercises to gain a deeper and more thorough understanding of what residents want to see in their community.

The information to the right is an example of this type of workshop in the City of Millbrae.

In 2016, the City of Millbrae hosted a series of community workshops to create a specific plan for the City’s Priority Development Area. The purpose of the workshop series was to inform the community about project objectives, collect information on existing conditions within the project area, discuss the community’s vision for the area, and begin to develop a plan to achieve that vision.
